How Workfolks handles your data

This product summary describes how Workfolks currently handles data. The final legal policy and retention periods must be approved and published before launch.

Workplace verification

Other members may see an allowed workplace name and verification status, but never your work email. Work email is used only for verification communications, security, and fraud prevention—not marketing. Limited security records may remain after removal only for an approved and published retention period.

Messages and safety

Messages are visible to participants. A reported excerpt and minimum context may be reviewed by authorized safety staff. Report details, block relationships, and internal notes are not public.

Account deletion

A deletion request has a displayed grace period. When processing begins, sessions are revoked and public content becomes unavailable. Safety, legal, audit, and backup data follows the published retention policy and applicable holds.
